What's my car's magic freq?

Just wondering what hit's best in a 3rd generation F-body. Just picked up my pvc and I wanna know what to tune it to. (86 camaro btw)

u are tunning pvc? never kne plastic could be tuned.

if u are lookin for magical frequency i'd suggest u go to www.magic.com

if u lookin for resonant frequency find a shop with a mic

Wow, and here I thought you guy's knew something about car audio. My fault.
And I would go to a shop, but that requires more money. I just thought I could ask here instead of paying for it. I'm sure someone as installed a spl system in a camaro.

Bob, every vehicle is different. Even the same make and model. Panels are not all made exact, and things are tightened differently, sealing and foaming in the cars is different, therefore no 2 cars can be used to tune each other. The only way to do it is to get it mic'd.

define spl.

from what i have seen camaros generally suck bad for spl. tune your box to 45hz and go from there

but then how will you know you tuned the box perfectly? ..... that requires testing...

sorry man, no way around it.. you're going to have to shell out cash to get it metered and test...
