And I would go to a shop, but that requires more money. I just thought I could ask here instead of paying for it. I'm sure someone as installed a spl system in a camaro.

Bought my equipment locally. Installed myself.
Me insulted? not even close.
Just wondering where to start for a tuning. Last box I made was at 55htz. Which I'm think was a little too high. So I was just wondering if anyone had any expeirience with these vehicles to tell me where about the resonant freq. is at (save a little bit of time, and pvc, to get closer to it)

WOW dude, how much is pvc, like $10... if you dont want to do it the proper way, then just guess.
SPL is not an exact science, there is no formula to know what a specific car's frequency is, this is all done by trial and error. Now all of the ones who do know what they are talking about know this and have done this to their own vehicles, now why can't you?!? Is pvc that expensive?!? or are you just that lazy

Just pick up a A2000 CD-101, and a RS SPL meter. is all you need to plot the magic freq.

If the shop you bought your gear from is anything like Justins they might help you test for say a 12 pack.

Lol, if only it were that easy. I'm only 17.
But I'm going to talk to a local shop and see if my buddy can cut me a deal on using the mic.
I will be using two twelves sealed in the same size box, in the same place. When I find the resonant frequency with that box. do I tune my single twelve in a ported box, below what I found with the sealed? (I heard to tune it 3-6htz below resonant frequency)
And yeah I know f-bodies can't get very loud. But it's the only vehicle I have. So I'm working with it (135.6db's with my first box, and now making my 2nd)
