if its for a pure slp set up most likey not. if its just for a loud daily driver then it should work. but it really all depends on what sub your useing

Cool

how far is the port the where the spl pickup would be?
that # into 1130 = what to set your port to
so if lets see if inside your car is 10' into 1130 =113 or 1/2 that # ontill you get a # that will work for you 66.5,33.25 and so on
then get the box firmly down in the car test then start to move the box 1/4" each way untill you get the bigges # you can

ps look at where your port fires to

look into it !

to get you max spl #

your port into the speed of Sound gives you a # ok
if the port is set to 1/2 of that # then your max spl will come !

by doing what i'm saying you will get thefull sound wave hitting the mike

Because the Sub itself, and box volume have absolutely nothing to do with it right.....

I agree, tune to 32 Hz and you will be happy.

Adjustable ports work well too.
