If you ask me the guy asked an empty question.....
He left us with a question that has NO answer.
32 would be good BUT you have NO clue what he is looking for.....
Bud when asking questions ask the full question.

i dont know about u but i think its pretty obviouse he's not asking/aiming towards spl. why does it matter what car and subs? 32hz sounds like 32hz in every vehicle and 200hz sounds like 200hz.

u are partially right tho. if he's was indeed asking about spl then his question can not be answered as is. but what if he's asking about just normal music??? and thats the answer i gave.

Just cut a hole in the box, large enough to let the smoke out, and you're good to go.

Hey - I'm not gonna argue, 32hz is 32hz. Some woofers in some boxes will align better than others to that tuning though. To be totally silly, a given 15in a 1cuft box tuned to 32hz will sound nothing like the same 15 in a 6cuft box tuned to 32hz and if one changes brands of woofers the sound will change yet again. I asked about the car cuz if he has something like a Fiero he should not be getting 15s at all

I have a question though - you suggest 32hz when he queried on 35hz. Why the difference?

32hz is a great starting point for tuning boxes. It usually works very well at this point and makes people VERY happy
