I think the mazde is a good idea... with or without the extra weight it won't ever be fast haha
like I said before though, im not looking to go fast, if that was the case I would just get a Vette or a SKyline :P, Im leaning towards suv more and more, just space and can take the weight better, also for next winter
4x4 will come in handy as my lancer just didn't do it this year, Got stuck in my own driveway 3x and 1time @ work!

i'll second the vue. but only the v6 is honda, not the 4 banger.
my buddy had one that he just recently traded in. it was cheap and very easy to work on.
they have good acoustics as well, he managed a solid 140.1 with 2 10's and 1000w
the saturn vue is a very good choice. i clicked other because i wouldnt consider it an suv, although it really is, the one i managed to get behind the wheel of felt the same as a car, rode great, cornerd well, and had tones of power. something to the tune of 245hp's i think.
and with some 19's or 18's on them they look just awsome.

My buddy is one his 2nd Vue... he had a redline before (250hp Honda V6) with an auto, and it boogies, 1/4 mile in 15 seconds flat IIRC.
Major trouble hooking up in first even though it had 245/**/18's on it, and the tires and brakes were expensive $$$$
He now has a regular Vue, 2.2L ecotec, 5sp, and it does fairly well.
With a good tire, we'll get him into the 16's on pretty much a bone stock engine, all he has is a drop in K&N air filter.
He also did 142.5db with a pair of M5A 18's, Orion 2500D, no testing frequencies and (what I consider to be) a amplifier weak electrical system.
The thing have loads of space inside, 37.5" between the rear wheel tubs, and have a pretty decent ride. Definetely check em out.

see now im more or less debating something a few years older now! I know if I get into a bigger vehicle its going to be short lived! Insurance and gas in a vehicle this big is to much! unless I get a diesel, only downfall they freaking stink!!
