The only aspect that we need to know is that we are not loud. The only way to get loud is for some people to start buying CRX's in street. I dont care what equipment everyone has if you dont have a CRX you are not loud enough to compete at the international level.

Im only saying this cause I dont like to see people going after sponsors for this and we dont even come close and we already know before hand. I rather let this year pass by and maybe try next year. Cause you know that sponsors will not just keep giving out money.

I dunno about CRX's.

First off, I am sure there are some loud Street cars in Canada that are not CRX's, some that are.
Either way, I wouldn't be surprised to see a few top 15's from Canada this year anyways.

Secondly, I think there are a few people who have invested in CRX's this year anyways and are putting forth a strong effort.

Thirdly, I think we're forgetting that there are 10 additional classes other than Street in dB Drag... and many people are building for those classes right now.

I would love to see this happen and will put forth all my effort in attempts to do so.
I'm am confident if everyone in this country competing in this sport put their energy into it, we will have some very loud competitors.

On a quick side note, the population of the states is over 10 fold what ours is... theory states that there will probably be 10 times as many finalists this year from there than here. Perhaps some peopel here may be able to disturb some **** though.

I really don't think owning a crx is what puts these people on top.. It takes a lot of time, effort and money to get there as well.. and while a crx may make it easier, i bet with any car with enough of time, effort and money will get loud..

I'm totally in!!
as i previously suggested, winnipeg would be fairly central.guys from vancouver will need to drive 26 hrs to get there,so 20hrs for lakesiders wouldn't be so bad.

hahahahah good luck to anyone with this.

im 100% with ConceptMustang, we gonna get smoked in every class and badly at that. I personally wont even bother with this. I find that us Canadians get too exited over something car audio related and loose touch with reality when it comes to our scores and our skills.

And driving 20+hrs just to see yourself get spanked.....count me out.

last time i rememeber we weren't born waking. we need to put in the big shows like this to make spl go up. thats why east coast is higher than west coast. and thats why alberta is climbing. cause guys wanna hit higher. big shows just get everyone off their butts and excite about spl. i started a club where so far 10 guys are excited about spl and are damn happy to hit 140's. heck i was excited to hit 150's last year. but now i'm not happy with 150's anymore and i'm, sure that members of West Coast Extreme SPL won't be happy with 140's next year. Soon as you know it extreme vehicles are gonna be all over the place. I really didn't see any one beat Rob vo's scores. i really don't think that we are louder, but i belive we wanna be. I think this show could accomodate that. and if not, it will expose canadians to a level of spl that not all canadians have seen. sure easterners are fortunate to have audio thunder and other big shows that get americans up here(americans with big scores). but ray's triple pointer is a first step in the right direction. Great thinking ray. i like your vision. WCES is behind you and we can try to accomodate with any help we can offer. but this is an opinions forum. Mr fx can take all this in and decide where to put the show. closer to the east where it is big business. or closer to the west where it is becoming big business.

dont know if u heard or not but audio thunder is done with. yes, no more audio thunder forever.

yah we are all excited to hit some kind of a number but lets face reality. what is highest certified street A score in Canada?....about 145?? what is it in the USA?...over 151. I myself can do over 148 in that class if i want to but over 150 i wish good luck to anyone. There is probably only one guy that is capable of that b/c he knows something we dont....Rob V.O.

it's a shame about audio thunder. didn't know that. i'm sure someone will hold a triple here and there. rob vo put in the hours that is needed , same as you have and same as others have, like Moe, 20 hz etc, and same as i will. i'm on my second year. hopefully in a few years someone out west will make a high score in thier category just like rob vo did.
