im just using this feedback as a starting point, im more than likely going to use a sweep from 40-55hertz to find where its max spl
i know that, i was just curious as to what everyone uses

we use sealed boxes. not sure why ppl still go with ported for spl?

The sad part is, I dont think I will ever use a ported box, they sound aweful to me...

Not "better", I personally think they sound fuller, and more accurate...

Remember guys, he said 4th order bandpass, NOT ported.

Chances are the frequency response will be fine with that tuning frequency, it's really not that high at all.

As far as I knew, fourth order WAS simply ported... I didn't see bandpass anywhere in there... but correct me if I'm wrong

ive been doing some more poking around as to what freq. to run the box at and 60hz seems to be right, it will be low aswell. a guy with a 4th order box close to mine said his at 66hz played aswell as his old box @ 34.

hopefuly some build pics this weekened, cad drawings almost done.
