I finally had a weekend off and decided to do a road trip to get the last of the gear I needed to finish off my system.

I first went to S&S Electronics to go look for an amp and a few other things....Thanks for all the Help S&S.....you have a great shop

I walked out with a....

MTX Thunder Class D TC4001 Amp, for my subs
8feet of 4awg wire and
2 Lightning Audio Fused Distro Blocks


Then off to get my speakers, took the trip down to Selective Sound.....It was nice meeting you Davis, thanks all the help... you have a great shop aswell

and walked out with a...

Hybrid Audio Imagine Series speakers and
some 2awg terminal rings, which I could never find any where else.

 

Yesterday I decided to see if the hybrid speakers will fit in the stock location, and they dont the magnet is to big, so I guess I will have to cut out the back of the door panel then deaden the entire door. I was also trying to see how I can run my new speaker cables to the factory speaker location, but that didn't work, does anyone have any tips on how I can run the new cables there?

any ideas? Was thinking of getting the factory speaker wire from the back of the deck and wire the new awg onto it. It this possible?
