no standard.. wife has to drive this one and she doesn't like standard. the 12 in the dash will simply be for the sake of having the 12 in the dash, and for up front bass.

Mids in kicks is an option, there is lots of room for that so it is possible, I'd probly build an enclosure into the trim mouldings and blend them in.

There was a neon kicking around with a pioneer 12 I think in his dash. Sounded nice but that sub never moved(very slight vibration when playing), might help the old SPL# though.

Sounds like quite the project should be cool.

just curious, How long do you figure this install will take? When will this car be drivable? You obviously have a very understanding wife. Sounds cool though!

car will be a daily driver, and hopefully the install won't take more than a couple months once I get started
