I like the grill. How about something like this? I think it would look really sharp. You've got access to some nice tools.

That's the plan but with Copper to match the tweeter!

Maybe you should go with a finer mesh, and press the grille so it goes over top of the phase plug instead of cutting a hole for it.

That grill idea has been axed. Stay tuned...I'll have final photos in the next 14days

Quick suggestion...Try either black engine enamel or spray on bed liner. Both fairly cheap from Cdn Tire. The bed liner is very durable (no touch up) and the screws will have a textured finish.

Thanks Doode - I'm actually switching to a smaller head bolt probably a socket cap. They will probably need a lick of bed liner and black flat paint!

I prefer the look of the mids and tweets WITHOUT any grills. Obviously the kicks need them though

Me too Jalat....but IASCA rules state all speakers require a some sort of protection. I'm talking to the guy who built the L8 grills for me! Well see how much first them I'll go from there!
