u are going to need gobs of power for that w6! trust me. however it is a good choice. there is also the hertz hx12 or hx10 and i know they sound awsome and take a little less power not to mention cost a whole lot less. look them up!

 

I can't see a DD9100 series do too much with only 500w of power.

 

JL 12W6v2 is a great choice. The Sq from that driver is terrific.

IDMax 12 is another great woofer. Have listened to it several times and am always impressed with it.

 

Thanks for the input, I'm trying to find an Image Dynamics dealer around here right now. How much is the retail on the 10" idmax? I remember reading something like $600.

The W6 is nice but pricey in retail too.

The elemental designs Ov2 stuff looks good (and ridiculousy inexpensive) but are they still on waiting list? And do the Canadian orders get shipped from Canada?

Hopefully I can find a w6 or idmax fs privately.

 

hmmm w6 are really good subs i'd have to say i wouldn't go with one.. only cause i know JL is everyones favourite, as least most. thats why i'm a focal fan myself. its up to u though both those subs u've mensioned are great, just feed the w6 with lots of power haha.
