I was wondering how good a pioneer p880prs was compare to my cd5000 or even a cd7200. only sq wise, I don't really care for the usb or acc. right now I have the cd5000 and I saw a good deal for a p880prs I don't really know that unit but a lot of people are saying good stuff about it. I was looking to change my head unit for a CD7200mkii but if the pioneer is comparable to the pioneer I will go for the pioneer.

I doubt you would hear much of a diff ...
The pioneer though has a seperate 16band EQ for left and right making it very unique and why a lot of people love it... well that and the xover functions.

I would keep your Eclipse or upgrade to the CD7200ii, no way I would go into a Pioneer personally.

I think that the choice is easy... I will keep my current eclipse and go with the 7200mkii when a good will show up.

It may be too late, but I used to have a 880 and absolutely loved it. My $0.02.

The pioneer's only problem, in my mind, is no USB. Sure you can get the expensive adapter but even then it apparently is a pain to navigate.
