Now keep in mind im an SPL guy so when it comes to imaging, soundstage etc i dont know my *** from a hole in the wall.
Just wondering if anyone has experimented with glassing midranges into the a-pillar pointing to the opposite passenger.
My reasoning is
#1 it would put my midrange much closer to my tweeters. (tweeters already in a-pillar, midranges in stock location in doors ) #2 im bored and need something to do this winter #3 need to improve my glassing skill
#4 wouldnt mind giving SQC a shot next year and im sure it would be an improvement over where the midranges are currently placed
#5 also if all goes well ill also be making ported door pods for my ddw6.5 midbasses if i dont get too discouraged with the a-pillar build.
any thoughts?
