so the consensus is...IB is the better way to go? I thought the sealing of the rear/trunk may create the biggest problem to do properly, and thought that the AP would alleviate that problem. Well, at least I've received very good information, and now i know at least 3 drivers that have been used successfully.
I've seen your install Defro, the aluminum baffle is definitely sweet, any idea what that would cost a regular person (not in the car audio install field)?

By and large an A/P set up is simply I/B with the addition of a resistive mat, placed in front of, or behind, the driver. The same care in proper sealing of the rear/trunk from the passenger compartment (front of driver / rear of driver) are essential to the success of both.

damnnnnnnnnnnnnnn...I want that! If my baffle looked liked that, I'd take the seats out!

what thickness of aluminum did you use Defro?

yeah, i got a quote from Eric Holdaway a few months ago on them...not cheap...but not too bad either.
