You're right - maybe the 12-15 odd times I have installed AC EQs I fubar'd the ground every single time... Never with the EQTs, xovers or epicenters though - just when including an EQQ, EQL, or EQX... Amazingly when a pair of lesbians were used to bypass the EQ the noise would disappear too. Amazing...
