HEhehe...everybody chooses Audison for their Focal set.

I've seen a ton of people walk into Audiowaves and listen to a set of Access on the SRX 3 channel with the Access 12's playing and go..."Wow man, that's what I want my car to sound like"....then they walk out with an Audison amp and a Focal set.

Eclipse is nice...I think, best bang for the buck right now though, is the Audison SRx's.

Fuse rating on Audison is misleading. The Audison amps use a propriatory fuse that is made for music. This is a type of slow blow fuse that will not pop until it has been exceeded drastically. For most pop music with low "Crest factor" a normal fuse is great but when listening to very dynamic recordings, the Audison type fuse is needed.
The general rule of thumb to calculate power output is Volt X Amps. Other general rules are the steeper the crossover, the better, titanium is better than poly, blondes are more fun....
It's great to use these general rules of thumb if you have no knowledge at all but, after more homework, it gets a little more complicated as Mr. PEI330Ci can tell you.
I would aggree with PEI330Ci about the HR100 but I have done some reading about the new flagship and i would wait.

Seriously, the only store that I have heard a direct comparison between the Eclipse and the Audison is Audio Magic in London.

Buy the Audison.

I agree Brian, I was throwing in a well established product that I thought a few people could relate to. While it is no longer available, it still represents the current state of the art in car audio. I made a promise to someone to keep my mouth shut about the other thing you speak of....so I will. Looks very different though!

I wouldn't.....cause if the amp is on the speaker then it won't sound good....I like to put it in the trunk.
