Question Audison SRx 5 help..stable @ 2 ohms???

Guys,

I need some help here. I have an Audison Srx 5 in my Infiniti and I'm in the market for a new sub.

I have been using a Focal 21v1 in a custom box but I blew the coils a few weeks ago. I want to move up to a larger sub...say 10" in a custom box.

I have been looking at Boston G5's very closely. Maybe with dual voice coils to boot.

One concern is with my amp. Its about three years old and I'm not sure if its stable down to 2 ohms for the sub output. I want to run my sub at this impedance.

The owners manual is confusing to understand.

I know that the newest version of this amp is stable at this label.

Any help would be grateful.

Also, are there any Boston Acoustic dealers in the GTA that are good to deal with? I went to Kromer Radio a couple of days ago but they were not much help.

Thanks!!!!

Your front and rear channels are 2 ohm stable, but the sub out is only 4 ohm stable.
