the things on the side of you head. all the amps i refered to are amps i have used, and i couldnt tell you the s/n ratio of one of them, they are just amps i have used and really liked, i dont judge anything by published specs and neither should anyone really

This is why Iam asking about higher end amplifiers. My city is too small. I will never get to hear a McIntosh, Audison VRx or Brax amplifiers. So I have to rely on user comments. I even heard someone say McIntosh isn't as good as it used to be before Clarion bought them out. This is stuff I want to know. So I am here....asking....and some people are no help, and some have helped me more than they know.

You are asking for comments on high-end products. These are peices in general that draw people that have some degree of insanity associated with their oppinion. (IE: they are extremely passionate about good music and good Hi fi.)Expect some crazy answers.
I don't consider myself to be entirely sane, so my opinions in particular need to be taken with a grain of salt.

^ Adam there is a joke that has a line in it that everyone who drives faster than you is an a$$ and everyone who drives slower than you is a moron. In your case anyone who spends more than the average Joe (insert Adam's name here) is insane, I guess I think you are less insane than some folks… 
McIntosh never made a car audio amp prior to Clarion buying them.

jaret, in my opinion, there is no better amp for the money right now than the avi abh1002, they are manufactured in italy by a highly regarded amp manufacturer(not audison the other one), dave mac gave it an incedibly good review, i could email to you if you wanted. it 100x2 rms, will do over 1000 watts into 2 ohms bridged, has dual power supplies(l/r), variable phase adjustment from 0-180 degrees, has 24db/ octaave lopass and subsonic filters, its sexy, all for under a grand, now its seems you want defenite opinions, there is one from a guy who uses this amp every day in his own vehicle, and has sold many and had not 1 failure, i hope ive helped, pm me for more info [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]
