It's not really comparing apples to apples.

This guy is testing homemade cables against off the shelf cables.

Can you really expect the same quality? Yes, the quality SHOULD be there but is it? No.

Not to mention he's testing a bottom of the line cable.

Cale from higher up the line from Monster is very good cable. Is there better? Of course there is, I'm not arguing that point.....If I had money for Audioquest or Kimber Kable I'd use them, but since I'm not a millionaire I use less expensive cable. It's not like there's a massive loss of quality there. I happen to really like my Scosche Black Platinum cables, and if I wasn't using them, I'd likely be using Monster Cable. How much difference can there possibly be?

I'm going to say something here that I probably shouldn't.

Marketing departments and copy writers, who very often have never heard or seen a given product, write the adds, and the specs.

Don't beleive everything you read. Is it really possible to be better-er?

I own a pile of Monster's top car audio wire. I know how it sounds.

I wasn't necessarily saying that Monster Cable is bad - just saying that the marketing is questionable.

There can be quite a bit of difference in cables, as those tests and the others on that site show.
