Am I the only one that is pissed that Alpine now makes all the extra tuning an add on for lots of extra money? I just killed my 9813 which had all of this built in and bought a 9886 thinking it would be a good deck only to find 1) no user manual except on a cd, how frigging cheap and 2) all the extras including MX which i feel is neccesary when playing mp3s is another $100 - $150 extra. I got a relatively barebones deck for close to $300. 9813 was a very impressive deck, 9886 does not impress me at all, very tinny sounding and the loudness is a joke. It's going back today for a pioneer 700bt

I've had the CDA 9885 and currently have the CDA 9886. It's not worth the extra money for the 9887 the 9886 does have an EQ you just have to know how to use it.

forget the 9887 or 9886 and go pioneer and grab a DEH-800PRS or 880-PRS
you will not be disappointed! all the equalization capabilities, time correction, and 5volt preouts!!
great sound quality units!
i have owned my alpine for about a year now and i cant stand any of there products anymore... used to love there old stuff. now all i hear is about people having problems with them. just my opinion though!!
