avi sls300, i kno a guy selling 2 barely used 8ohm for 400 hundred for the pair, they are usually 450-500 each

IDQ's all the way. They can easily take tons of power but are also efficient enough that you don't need 1200 watts to make them sound good. A 12' can sound good & loud with a pure 300 watts rms .

IDMax 12" is roughly $400 plus tax. It would an excellent choice.
Or a pair of IDQ 12's or 15's would be good also. Depends how loud you want it to get and how much space you have to work with.
OZ Matrix Elite is on par with the IDMax in SQ and output and can sometimes be found for a bit cheaper.
