hey guys.. im trying to put up a list of gear i will plan on buying this winter for the summer build.

i am trying to find a 4way electronic xover. tweet mid midbass and sub. with EQ is even better.... i dont want it to be in the deck or amps.. i want this unit put right in between my front seat for easy tuning.

i will be grabing a eclipse deck the 7200

for speakers i will be ordering from solen.

want to know where and who to contact for a Massive Audio Nanoblock N4 amp

basicly looking for a small profile amp that does around 100watts x4 without paying over 500 a piece..

or any ideas for what i could use??

no budget as of now but im thinking around 2k 2.5k around. that has to include the sound deadning.. around 200sq ft., rca's, amps, sub('s), MDF, fiberglass...


its fully SQ. based system boxe will be tuned to a flat responce and tune it pretty low. mono amp will prob be the sundown 2k at 1ohm... i will be getting a quote on a HO alternator for my van.. bigger than 160..

For a not to expensive 4way active setup
HU: Pioneer DEH-P800PRS 599$ usd (or another "SQ" 3way capable)
FS Amp: Zed Audio LEVIATHAN 599$ usd

It's only a 3way HU but you can split the HIGH RCA (mid+tweet) to go 4way. The idea is to use the internal xover of the LEVIATHAN to bandpass the mids and highpass the tweeter. Since the tweet and mid will be very near, the TA adjustment for both should be ok.

For the doors, since you will run a sub simply go with a solid 6.5" MB like the SLS. Mid and tweet, well that's where most of the ESSQ is reproduce so dont cheap out and maybe go with some HAT,Focal...

Subs stay with what you currently have until you can get my 2 SSA ICON and my 1500D

 

the only prob i see having with your setup is the box lmao its WAY to high. still need to put groceries lol... ya ya im not in bed yet :P going right now lmao

btw i was trying to stick more to the DIY stuff. like solen electronics has. "home stuff" SLS for sure i love these things. but im leaning more towards the 8" tho. i have to mod the door anyway. y not dish out 30$ more lol
