FIT build - Attempt Two.

Just a suggestion,
If your doing another cable like this, dont cut all your wire on the plug end the same length. It will allow you to keep your cable smaller because all your joints will be in different locations.
Looks good though

Difference was marginal. I used another cable and tried it there and the difference was 4mm, no biggie. Especially when I'm saving 3 inches in circumference total from not using RCA ends behind the HU.
The space cavity where the decks wiring is located is quite large but once you see the next step you will understand why.

a metallic loom type cover, or even a spiral wrapped wire around the entire length of your RCA/Signal cables which is grounded toward the HU side to the chassis or even direct to battery will really help with any potential RF noise.

There are no links to evil voodoo. Just accept that it works. I had to do this once on an older vette with a redonkulous ignition setup and it got rid of his RF noise that he was trying to be rid of for years.
Also works if you spiral wrap a power wire ran near RCA's it's bleeds all the voltage off to ground to the RCA's next to it don't pick up noise./

The only things ever mentioned in these comparisons is thermal breakers. If you want to use a breaker that acts and responds with both speed and precision of a fuse, you may want to read up on magnetic breakers and the advantages they have over their thermal counterparts. Be advised that they are, however, more expensive. Also what you need to perhaps consider is the variance on both fuses and thermal breakers when heat is applied...like lets say...an engine compartment. That 100 amp fuse or thermal breaker under your hood may not actually be rated at 100 amps when you are in rush hour traffic and your temperature under the hood is extremely hot. This is another advantage of magnetic technology with it being less effected by heat.
To each his own, but you may want to look up magnetic breakers and their benefits over thermal...especially in car applications.
On another note....nice job on the fit. Keep us posted on the progress. Well done!
