Focal Dash in the worx!
After almost 4 hours of tuning with towels and masking tape it's finally time to complete!
TN52 Tweeter is going into it's factory angled plastic mold - I chose to do this since I'd like to be able to adjust it in the future if need be!
More photos are to come over the next few days, as long as the weather holds up!
The dash instrument cover has been removed unit I decide to cover it with something else!

i'm having trouble covering the dash to protect it from fiber-glassing.
Are there any other techniques besides many layers of masking tape and or a thick garbage bag? Masking tape refuses to stick and a plastic bag will not stay either unless I use a very light spray coat of elmers contact cement glue! - Man this is frustrating!
HELP ME!!

why not. put your factory a pillars in. take a little materail away at a time until u can reach your desired mounting points such as u have in the picture. then hot glue them to the facotry pieces. then fiberglass them out of the car.
your end result would probably be better.

well personally i would make them into the a-pillar. since i'd rather mount something there then on the dash. cheaper to replace a-pillars then dashboard.
but if u have your heart set on going your way....just use tin foil shaped flat to the dash...and just use duct tape around the edges.
be careful. resin doesnt like to come off carpet or other upholestry.
** i meant duct tape not masking tape lol
