Good quality 2 channel amplifier?

why not get 2 small amps and bridge them, one for left and one for right, you can get 200 watts per channel for $400 full retail that are good amps.. the concept car audio ca502 is 200 watts bridged into 4 ohms and is 199 full retail. this will also give you left and right separate level control. i have done this many time to nsave people money and get them lots of power, where else can you get 200 watts per channel rms for $399 with a 2 year over the counter warranty

I guess the main thing is quality. I've always been told that you will notice a difference in the SQ with a quality amp. My RF 300X is a 4 channel bridged to 160Wx2 but sometimes I question the quality. Maybe I'm nuts!

Nope, RMS - and conservative from what I am told. I have one of my 75x4 amps double bridged to the midbass - similar to defro's idea above.
Of course my 4" and tweets I run at 4 ohm to preserve amp SQ.
