^ there isn't going to be an audible difference between 150x2 @ .05% THD and 150x2 @ .2% THD....

If youre worried about your amps you'd probably freek out if you knew how much distortion most speakers contribute...

3-5% is the threshhold for audibility at moderate levels for most people.....

So why dont they(or do they)make 2ohm mids?I know of the old soundstream spl's but anything current. That would get max output from your 2 ch and be perfect in this situation!

Image Dynamics have made some 2 ohm mids, and I had some Orion coaxials that were 3 ohms, so I imagine they did some 3 ohm comps also.

I meant to say a good class AB amp as I know that the quality of RF amps have gone down over the years. </font>[/QUOTE]Have you had problems with your RF amps? I've been using them since the mid 80's and I think my new amps are just as good as my old ones. They sound great, as all name brand similarly rated amps do, and are more versatile than the old ones. I keep hearing people say that the quality has gone down, I have yet to see it. I think most car audio guys are angry at RF because you can buy them at Future Shop and Best Buy. Anyway, this has been my experience and yours may differ.

The new RF Power series amps are some of the best amps on the market at any cost.
Only thing I don't like about them is the size.
