How low is to LOW
Then there was the Mythbuster episode about the 7Hz "Brown" note.
They busted the myth (no brown), but I read somewhere that maybe they had some phase issues. It was a big cirle of speakers with the subject in the centre getting blasted with 7 Hz at high volume.
Good scary movies always have a good deal of rumble just before they scare the c**p outa ya.

That mythbusters brown thing was bad - first and foremost - around here the Brown note was always 3Hz... And, they should have simply spent the time to calculate it - it's simple the resonant frequency of your bowels - or a section of them... Boo...
Was fun to watch though... Oh, and you'll note - they sealed up the vented enclosures for the test.
0.1Hz 'IS' too low - 1Hz is fine...

^ Yeah they sealed them up to get down to those kinds of frequencies since it was far lower than the tuning frequency of the enclosures and I guess they didn't want to blow up a whole bunch of 15s. BUT, when it was time to actually get some output, out came the stuffing from the ports

And 2 scoops will verify that!

Exactly... And the fact that your bowel is all folded up into a ball - well, who knows wether you should use the whole length, or just a section of it.. Point is - it's fun trying to find it.
SUX - you're right - when it came time for mid-bass (sarcastically stated as being above 30Hz for this example only!), they used 'em ported...
I'm in such a ****-disturber mood today...
