"I have a 1500 watt hair dryer and sounds like chit"

...I'm not understanding the question at all, can you be a little more specific as to what you're asking?

sounds like you have Infinity speakers and sub, speakers are running off the deck power, and your 800 watt amp is rated at peak output. You need, another amp for your speakers, 50watts x4 RMS will do nicely, and your 800 watt amp should be about 250-300 watts RMS which is good for your sub. Assuming it's all installed properly, and set up right (correct cross over settings, gain settings, etc...), it should be loud and clear, and significantly better than 90% of the factory systems out there. If not, you need to go see a professional.

You definitely need another 2 channel amp, at the least, to power your front speakers. Since you've replaced all four corners, you can get a decent 4 channel amp that will give those speakers their RMS wattage.

Or, as I've learned within the last couple hours, you can buy a 2 channel amp and run the front and rear left speakers in parallel on the front channel, and the front and rear right speakers in parallel on the rear channel. That way you could use the amp's 2 ohm stereo operation to get more power out of it for your speakers...

Turns out i've been tricked by certain store either the guy didn't know what the hell he was talking bout or he was just conning me for commish. either way I'm quite pissed the amp i got might not be the one i was charged for im checking all of the receipts and things now the amp i got for my sub is P325.1
325 Watt Mono Amplifier i guess this changes my perspective of a certain store

well that amp is good for that sub you have...800 watts rms would be overkill for a sub that's rated at 250 rms I believe. The peak rating on that amp is around 900 watts I think, so they didn't mislead you. You just don't know enough about car audio yet. Anyway, as long as your sub is 2ohm, or dual 4ohm, then that amp will power it to it's limits. If your sub is only 4ohms then you'll only get 175 watts from the amp as it generates 325 watts rms at 2ohms.

^^actually I just realized you may have an issue here. If the sub is only 4ohms then your amp will only deliver 175 watts rms to it, as that amp's max rms power is at 2ohms. you need to find out if your sub is 2ohms, or dual 4ohms (wired parallel..gives you 2ohms as well)). This may be a reason for your lower output. If the sub is only 4ohms, you can probably exchange it for a 2ohm model...that would the easiest solution, or exchange your amp for a 250 watt @ 4ohm model.

Do you have access to a digital multi-meter (<<< LINK)? You can use one of those to determine the resistance the subwoofer is putting on the amplifier. If not, you can pick a cheap one up at Canadian Tire for $15.

The linked one is the same as I have. Just need to buy a 9V battery to go with it.

First, plug the end of the black prong in the black hole, and the red in the red hole on the right side.
You see the up-side-down horse-shoe symbol in the lower-left quadrant? It designates "Ohms". You turn the dial so the arrow is pointing at the 200 ohm, straight down on this unit. Then touch the red prong to your positive, and black to your negative on the terminals on the side of the subwoofer enclosure. Wait a second and a number will be displayed. You should either see 2.0 (+/- .1) or 4.0 (+/- .1). When I do this to my Type S sub, I get 3.9 ohms. Which means I'm getting the 420W @ 4 ohm my amp is rated for.

You're in luck if you already have one.

Like Veeman stated, if its a 4 ohm load, then you're only getting 175W from this amp. If its a 2 ohm load, then you're getting the 325W its rated for.

I don't mean to offend you, if you already know how to operate an multi-meter. A month and a half ago, I didn't have a clue.
