To show an example of how power can benefit a speaker over a lack of it, I have a set of 8" triaxial speakers (Cadence) rated for 75 RMS apiece. I am powering them with 2 amps (1 bridged to each) rated at 240 RMS. Honestly, I think the speakers can take more power, ...too bad my ears can't.
