The CD7000 from eclipse does have a 3 or 4 way (can't remember) xover. It also has real TA (unlike the CD5000) and a PEQ. Pretty sweet unit. It also comes with GPS and an SD card reader.

Another alternative, is the pioneer 880prs. In network mode, it has the 3way xover with selectable 8 to 24db slope, 16band EQ and time allignement (not just presets). Sweet looking unit to.

Thank alot guys. great info. I dont think the eclipse is gonna do what I want it to so it looks like DEX/DEQ or clarion. The only other option is to go with the dc ref amps instead of the ref. and split the front signal. Then use the x-overs in the amps. I guess there a whole other can of worms

So you're gonna have 2 speakers covering from ~80-1000Hz?

I have dude, I just think you're over complicating things. There are a ton of speakers that will easily play up to horns. Why use 2? Especially 2 6.5's.

I have acsess to horns as I am a Image dealer, I never used the horns B4 and wanna try something new. Either way I do not want to use passive x-overs and absolutly need 3way up front becaus its the only thing that I have been happy with. I have never been satisfied with two way no matter how they were installed.

I see JBL has a processor coming out, MS8 I believe, that will do what you want and more. Here's a write up on it http://www.audiogroupforum.com/csfor...ad.php?t=63407

What about using a Pioneer, Alpine or Eclipse HU to Xover the front and using the amps Xover for the sub and the highpass on the midbass.

It's a pain in the *** to use an amp. Unless one is really short for money.
Tuning from the driver's seat = priceless.

I agree, but most tuning will be done on the front stage, sub doesn't need much. There needs to be more 4 way capable HU's other than 1.
