There's no doubt about it that install makes a huge impact on the end result. But in a close second place is the quality of the speakers (and IMHO way down the list is the type of electronics used). Any good peice of kit can be made to sound good in capable hands...it just matters how much time it takes to get there!

One thing I will note is most of the major high-end front-stage speaker brands were represented at the IASCA Finals, so these placements were definetely earned.

And yes, we do pride ourselves on real, home-grown customer service.

For sure, you guys earned it and I would think it must be a decent quality product but I too have never heard it for myself. The comment about service and support is very important, and it always has been. Back in the 'golden days' of car audio, some of the bigger companies would step up and provide great support for their high-level competitors. That kind of stuff is what gets tossed first though when profits shrink. Good for Hybrid on keeping it up.

No sir. Even when those brands were huge back then, we usually chose to go a little bit of a different route. Rockford was a big favorite and so was Alpine. Still big brands back in those days but there was that perennial favorite you'd always see in the magazines of PPI amps, JL subs and MBQ front stage. Then later on when horns were big, it was the same yet with Image Dynamics or USD speakers. The only product I've ever owned of any of those is a pair of MBQ 3-way MusiComp passive xovers. Dukk has changed plans I believe for the hearse.
