IB classifications
#2
Isobaric is simply two woofers either face to face or one in front of each other wired togther. Biggest advantage is your enclosure is half the standard size. But you will only have the output of a single woofer. There aren't may applications that I would suggest using this arrangement though. Todays subs work in small cabinets on their own and I can't justify the extra cash needed.
#3
What about IB in kick panels? btw I'll take you up on you offer once I get the car done! Hmm when you're thinking um that depends on when Rockford get the next batch of 3sixty.2's built! BEH!
#6
Isobaric = alignment better suited in the old days when a smaller enclosure was needed but power and control needed to be kept.
Infinite Baffle = a "wall" that completely separates the front of the driver from the back..the baffle is "infinitely" huge...no enclosure, aka free-air (not completely accurate)
