JL 13w7 vs 15'' RE SX?

That sounds like a great size, make sure to make the port as smooth as possible, using 45s and router the exit with a half inch or so

Hits harder - L7 surface area of the subs allows it to move more air. the enclosure is very crucial to in this achievement

sounds cleaner - W7 no contest

Better bang for the buck - L7 its just way cheaper. you can even get the 2006 model for less.

I am not saying that the W7 does not bang. it bangs super hard and is a great sub. the L7 just beats the W7 on the price.

The extra cone area with a square cone is 31 square inches, which is like the size of a 6.5" driver, it's hardly an advantage. The XCON and a 2005 RE XXX are better than the W7 for SQL, and maybe even cheaper.
