would a jl w7 13 sound better in a sealed box or a ported box ?

If it helps, I have a 12W7 and I prefer it in a ported application.

 

if it helps i have a 13W7 and i prefer it in sealed (although it is quite a bit more potent in the ported enclosure... and i think it hits deeper). either way you hsould be fine.

ported all the way!, w7's are very competent ported box subs.
