^ JL has had their speakers made in the same factory as MBQ... I DO NOT think it is MBQ's factory. JL speakers do not sound the same as MBQ. Both sound good but different. The thing they do in common is they both crank out high volume.
JL now makes accesories, speaks, woofs, amps...HU is next!

just because a product comes out of the same factory does not make it the same product
are you that narrow minded

do you have any proof who makes there speakers in the first place or are you using your brain again

p.s. don't post you opinion unless you want it subject to scrutiny
get a life bud

Oh lord...I really wish people wouldnt link me to this forum anymore....Now I remember whwy I left 2 years ago...(2 posts in 1 week, after my 2 year hiatus...whats up with that.)

First off, JL is JL. They are a HUGE company, very well respected. I personally like the XR series, (yet to hear the ZR's, probably never will.)

Quart makes their speakers. Is this a big deal? Meh, I guess to some people it is, some people it isnt. But if I buy a whole whack of Nike shoes, and Rename them to the "Dukk loves men" shoe company, am I a true shoe company?

Matter of opinion I suppose. But like everything else in this industry, Its all opinion and B.S anyways.

Pinhead, you shouldn't be so quick to jump to conclusions about Mr.Moore up there. He knows more than he lets on.

Oh, and BTW, I can GUARANTEE you I've forgotten more about the audio industry in general then you will ever, EVER know. So I guess that makes me cooler than you.

I know who makes them, who designed them, and where they come from. I just wanted to know if the sound was as good as the price suggests, as I have yet to listen to them myself. But I will get my chance very soon.
