FLAC has HU support, as well as native Ipod decoding...

Car stereo: Portable/Handheld: EDIT: Aside from the ipod, what hardware supports AAC? I'm not talking about Pc/MAc, strickly for the car...??

I use aac, wav, apple lossless,...and quite honestly I can't hear a difference in even compressed tracks in a very quiet garage in the middle of the night switching from track to track (wav to aac 128 kbs). As far as I'm concerned they're all more than good enough for me. If you can tell them apart, then by all means you should find the one that sounds best to you.
