Using coda.fm right now....adding to my Pink Floyd collection

Lots of albums for us old folks.

 

i used to love coda.fm however! i don't think i have come across any lossless torrents there.

nothing above 320 is on the site if i remember correctly.

if you aren't looking for true lossless, the site is amazing.

 

i so miss oink..... downloading music became such a pain when they were forced to shut down

 

I have to agree, Demonoid is amazing for music

 

Lossless by definition is just that, completely lossless of any audio information unlike mp3 which cuts out parts that are said to be less detectable by people. Not perfect though and you do get losses that you can hear. Lossless on the other hand uses a mathematical algorithm to reduce the number of bits required to represent the file. When decoded it comes back out to the same thing, but requires an exponential amount of time and processing power depending on the compression.

FLAC and m4a will be identical, anything you hear about differences in sound between ANY true lossless compression method is all in that person's head as long as they were compressed with the same settings like EQ.

 

I find alot of things by just google'ing them, youd be surprised what you can find.

Ive gotten so many viruses using the pirate bay, with utorrent.
So I just stopped !

 

never got one... oh wait i'm using linux i don't have those problems
