are you using them as midrange? cause it says they're midwoofers. just curious.

thanks

Yep, 250 - 2500. They are called midwoofers because of the size bracket they fall into. In my opinion what they ultimately become depends on how you use them.

hahaha u blew a midbass lmao.. it only works for a 1second when u lightly tap on the speaker???

BTW guys what is the difference between car and home audio speakers. type of venting. cone materials. box sized and blah blah blah. a speaker is a speaker right. as long as it does what u want it should work right... venting and meterial shouldnt make a difference? and what would weather do to a car speaker and a home speaker. would a home speaker be more affected than a car speaker????

would like an awnser from someone older than 12 plz or with parent supervision lmao

I'm 12 and 1/2...sooo.....
Temperature and Humidity DO affect the performance of a driver.
That being said, I do now, and have been for a long time running home drivers in my car and never had a problem, be careful mounting if you're using paper cones, but other than that using your head a little you'll be fine with either.
Home drivers are much cheaper and bang for the buck sound much much better.
marketing and cone material protection are the only difference build wise.

ALL speakers are affected by temperature, you just can't necessarily hear it.
its the nature of a flexible cone or surround, there are no materials that don't stiffen or loosen based on temperature that I know of, rubber gets stiffer with cold....butyl to a lesser extent but still does.

I meant more along the lines of the dampness in a door affecting a non treated paper cone driver as opposed to a treated one, but the treating of that cone also affects performance.

please note when I say "affected" I'm not saying they are affected positively or negatively, just saying there is some effect.

how about the back of the home driver.. isn't it more open/vented therefore leaving it over exposed to moisture? .. I'm thinking of buying another one to replace the one that died as it'd be cheaper but, shouldn't I wait and buy a new pair of midbass drivers made for cars?
