Morel Elate Speakers

I am running 2 sets of the Morel Elates. Awsome sounding speaker. I am running the Elate 9" 3-way up front and the Elate 5" 2-way for rear fill. They are a little pricey but worth every penny.

^ completely false.
Heh, heh, heh........... sounds like someone is more likely been over-stocked by LinX and can't sell it off

Morels are pretty awesome. Can't go wrong there at all.

I got a set of Morel tempo's .. the low-end ones, and They have to be the best ones i've sound out of a bunch of people's comps I heard.. I like them, even when cranked, they sound smooth to my ears unline other brands.. sometimes they can be pingy and hurt your ears.

I've owned a few sets of Morels, and a 3 way set of elates in the past. Can't tell you how good or bad the off axis response was as I like my speakers on-axis. My mids and tweets were aimed to the listener, and the midbass was installed front/middle height...chrysler lhs...so essentially on axis as well. All I know is that they are the best sounding speakers I have ever heard..imho. I'm currently saving up for some supremo mids, tweets and cdm 88.

How do the Morel's sound compared with similarly-priced Hybrid Audio speakers systems?
I might be bringing HAT to Hong Kong, and I already deal with the Morel distributor here, so any insights would be appreciated.

Tempo's here too, they do sound amazing, but yes, unless I have some setting wrong somewhere, the tweeters seem quite high on treble.

Shalom v'bracha Mashiah. ;-)

As an Israeli living in Canada, I still say the best bang for your bucks, and designed to last, overbuilt in my opinion, just like proper equipment is made by those that use it, I think Morel speakers are a great design, sound fantastically REAL, and WHEN I have the money, I will be installing them in my Saturn.

BTW, I was in Ness Tziona at the factory, and noted something unique, GREAT attention to detail, very detailed quality control of EACH completed unit, I was very impressed by this small company with great potential.

I may sound somewhat biased being Israeli, but trust me when I say I shoot from the hip, and if I didn't like a product, I'd tell it to you straight.
