what i will do.. put the sub in front of the passenger seets pointing in the winchield...

i will not buy any new sound card so no new chanels!..i will keep the configuration i have for now and i will try to concentrate myself to the instlation.

after doing all this..if my system is not what i want i will keep it...and i will spend money on a home system.

 

Putting your sub in the front is the last thing you should consider. It may make the car sound worse.

Dont over think your system. Usually the most logical solution is the right one.

get the bass closer not like you but a little diferent.

I would put your sub location on the back of the list. Done properly, a sub will sound upfront even if it's behind you.

Work on your front end and after you get that the way you want it, then take the time to worry about your sub location.

I wanted to do this type of install more as a test than anything else. The advantage for my situation was that my bass if more focused. But I have less than half the output that I used to have. Putting a sub upfront causes everything to resonate, so if you dont do a good job, your toast. Do it if you want, but you've been warned.

 

i didnt want to put it on the dash like you but i wanted to put it just in frond of the BACK passenger seet...so betwwen the back and the frond....

in a echo there is just two place...so here is an unused space there.


but like you said i will do this last if i feel that i need it...or if i have nothing to do a week.


edit: anyways i dont have enought space like i thought i had....so i cant

i drop my xover frequenci to 34 hz on my ,mid and my sub to 35hz...and it is good...i also raise up my xover frequecie of my tweeter to 4.500hz...

With all the thin subs out there a natural place for a sub is up front in the passenger foot well in a box so it has a controlled Vas. It wouldn't take up too much leg room is some cars if you use a MDF faced and fiberglass backed enclosure. If you carpet it it could pass for a stealth installation too

 

i do not have enough space bacause of the front seets a echo hb is very small
