You missed the perfect opportunity to pick up an IDmax this passed weekend... they were on sale for 399, down from 650 at Performance World/Audiothunder.

Both the IDQ and the IDMAX are awesome. But the best thing to do is to listen to them and/or others as well.

The only danger there is ensuring that it's been installed properly with the right enclosure. I've heard subs that should really sound amazing (because I've heard them before) and they ended up sounding like total azz because of a bad install.

I should have a pair of IDMAX 12" installed in my car in the next little while....... if I ever get around to finding the time to do so. Once it's up and running, I'd be more then happy to demo it for you. But once again, take the advice above and listen to as much stuff as you can before making your choice. I know someone who works for concepts on wheels so I am hoping to still get a good deal.
