Question Need processor help

With winter winding down, we're starting to poke at getting my new system up and running. We decided to just go for it, instead of doing this thing in stages, I'm just going to do the damn thing right, now. This means I want a processor.

One thing my deck doesn't have is time alignment. I would absolutely love to add time alignment to my car, and am looking for a processor that can do it, plus EQ. A crossover would be nice, but I can do that with the amps, so it's not necessary.

If anybody knows of a model that can give me time alignment plus a GOOD EQ (none of this 4 band crap), please let me know.

If I can't do this, then I'm torn between the DQS and EQS from Audiocontrol. I can also get my hands on an EQQ, but it's a little bigger and is only 4 channels (I'd like 6). Does the DQS offer enough functionality over the EQS, WITHOUT the remote, to justify the extra cash?

Thanks in advance!

DQS is worth it since you get xover functions to. No remote is OK I guess if you can bring the unit upfront for tuning.

If you need 3 way front active then your choises are:
Alpine H701 with Rux controller or H700
PPI DCX-730 (only used)
Alto mobile UCS pro (only useD, require laptop or hard to find controller)
Zapco DSP6
Pioneer DEQ-9200

If 2 way front active then you can add
RF 3sixty.2 (require bluetooth device)
Macrom (I forget the name of their processor)

All of them can be controlled remotly.

Problem with AC products is that
-Symmetric only xover (I know you don't care since oyu plan to use amp xovers but...)
-No T\A
-No phase adjustement (expet for sub)
-No selectable xover slopes
-Expensive as hell
The only advatange is that you can use both their GEQ and PEQ at the same time.

Wow, some neat stuff to look over. For reference, I'll be running my front stage with the passive x-overs still, as I have speakers in my rear deck and not enough amps to actively do the front tweets and mids.

Just buy the Alpine 700 or 701. It does everything and is pretty reasonably priced used.

I'd be interested in the 700 if I could find one. Pretty scarce unit. Anyone have a link to the manual for it?

I would take the 701 over the audiocontrol.... in fact I would I would avoid the audiocontrol like the plague, but thats just me.

There was an H700 setup locally here on Craigslist for sale (Vancouver).
