New system problem

I'm working on my new system and plan to use HAT 1,4,8 in kicks and doors. I was hoping to use all active but upon looking for a amp i'm having trouble finding one with a crossover built in that will cut the tweets off at 8 to 10k. Most of the amps i have found only go up to 200 or so on the cross over. Is there a good SQ deck/processor that has a crossover built in to cut tweets off at 8k or so and band pass the mids from 150 to 8k or so.

I'd look for an outboard processor/crossover. That way you can choose your amps and deck freely without being concerned with their built in processing.

^^second that...alpine pxa-h700/701, or similar fare from rf, audison, audio control etc...will give you mega control over your high end speakers. As far as amps go...I think the JL slash series have a freq multiplier.

If u can find one the H701 is a good way to go. Its what I use on my HAT spks and it works perfect! If u go with a H701 though get a matching Alpine H/U with Optical out. this combo gives the best results.
