If you want loud you think of subs, if you want SQ, it's everything else.
Most any sub in the right box will do for "sq".

For SQ you want most of the low frequencies to be reproduced by your mid bass drivers. The sub should be crossed over as low as possible and should blend seamlessly with your mid bass. SQ sub bass is best achieved from a sealed box system that can play down to 20hz or lower. This type of system often requires a lot of power.

I have a Dakota R/T.

I "Think" I can fit a 10 inch in the center console if I take out the factory one.
But, I was hoping on so ideas on "SUB" brands..........

JL 10w1 (believe it or not)
PG rsd 10 (loves a tiny enclosure)
IDQ 10....

They incorporated a factory sub into the Dak console? Where and how big?

Dakotas are notoriously nasty for subbage cuz there is NO room behind that seat (thanks MOM). I would consider an 8 or 10 in the console or some handywork on the doors for an 8 or reeeeealllly good 6.5 in each one.

Ideally, your easiest option is a bandpass in the bed with the vent through the backwall of the cab but I find very few guys willing to cut a hole in their truck
