Peerless is the oldest speaker company in the world, I have a set of home speakers from, I'm not 100% sure but from what I'm told, the 60's which I will take pictures of next time I have a chance.

I had them hooked up once, to an old stereo I had laying around (old school Marantz with the old style level meters in them)

Being that I've heard many of today's speakers, I wasn't too impressed, but then I remembered that these, supposedly, were built in the 60's, so I threw on a Jimi Hendrix vinyl and a Lava lamp and thought they were awefuly decent for being so old.....still hit some pretty deep notes even off an old vinyl.

Anyway, I have a set of Peerless midbasses from recent years which, eventually, will make their way into my van. I don't put Peerless in the same catagory as Focal or Scan Speak.....but they do build some pretty respectable drivers.

That being said, I've never heard the drivers in question.
