For better SQ I've always been a fan of Dyn Audio, CDT, Morel, Focal. Focal mostly but they might be more $$$ then you want to spend. What kind of amp are you using to power them?

Morel, Focal, Eclipse and Macrom are what I have typically recommended over the years. Contact me by pm or preferrably msn, forbidden@telus.net and we can discuss options if you like.

Look into DLS as well, they sound good and are pretty forgiving to install.

Don't forget the Rainbows. I'm toying with a set of their tweeters, sounds darn good. If the mids are as good as the tweeter, then they be good.

thanks for the names, dont have the time too look into them more but hopefully soon.... another quick question .....my cavy has stock 4x6 ? in the front....would it be easier to put in 5.25 or 6.5?? which would sound better do you think?? id sort of like some nice bass and mids to it so would 6.5 be best bet?

It already has Alpine 6x9 in the back... 50 RMS each i think it said and like 250 Max i think.... should i get 50 wRMS for the front to match you think?

and i havent got an amp yet.... was going to look into a 4 ch amp that will put out around that 50 wrms x 4 .....

6.5 is always best over the smaller sizes. And they will fit with a mounting plate made of MDF, and if you don't have access to make it, you can buy pre made plastic plates at stores. Im sure one of the local dealers can make them for you and ship them to you for a fee, they most likely have the templates.

I have a nice set of Diamond audio 6.5 comps here too. Pm me we can talk

yea try to fit in 6.5s. just take the panel off and have a look if the door-skin grill will allow for 6.5 mounted to mdf panel under it.

I've heard this as well. DLS 3-way is my next purchase I think.
Quality products that sound great!

I'm, as always, partial to Focal, so I'd recomend a set of Focal Access 6.5 Coaxil's or maybe Polyglass 6.5's....depending on what you want to spend of course.

I actually heard CDT for the first time a while back as well, so I'd recomend them also, I was quite impressed.
