Polk Audio SR10" vs JL W6 10"

I really like the JL W6 but I am also interested in the Polk SR10 after reading a review in PASMag a couple months back (not that I've seen a bad review in that mag...).

Thing is, I am not aware of any Polk Audio dealers in the Ottawa area other that Autosound Plus and last time I was there they didn't have any and indicated that they most likely won't have any on display.

Can anyone offer a comparison on the 2? I am looking for a balance of SQ and SPL, but I am more biased toward SQ. However, I would like a set-up that can shake the cars in front of me if desired

We sell the polk and they will deffinately keep up with the JL and handle more power than the JL will. They will also give you what ever sound you are looking for as they play well in either a sealed or ported box.

Thanks....So customer feedback has been pretty good I assume. I am thinking Alpine PDX1000 to 2 10". I am really looking for SQ that you can feel in your gut.

How have the SR components been received? I'm contemplating these, as well as the ZR Comps.

Both the SR and the W6v2 are fantastic sounding drivers and both worth an audition. Both can do well in sealed or ported applications. Which is better depends on your ears and I'm sorry if that doesn't help you out but they really are both on the same level.

Also add the IDMax and the OZ Matrix Elite subs to the audition short list as they both sound as good if not better and have a bit more output.

The SR comps are a very nice set indeed.
