Plow, what's the best deal you can get me on one of the Drive 30 units...PM me.

Mr. Marco 06-07-2004 04:35 PM

Plow, you stress too much. you have it good, yet you complain (well, except for that nasty noise issue).
and i'm pretty sure you're not gonna downsize. haha, you;re making me laugh...right.
i did play with it, but not much... just to make sure it was saving the settings and so on. the freakin thing is quite flexible. i'd love to have an rta to tinker with also (hint hint Adam).
nah, i wouldn't know what to do with
don't worry, we'll get to it when i have freer weekends.

Mr. Marco 06-07-2004 07:52 PM

Just bought a top secret driver from Vance last week....

The Seas Millenium's are a very nice tweet. I have a set of LPG 26NA's that are inexpensive, and sound very nice. Feel free to borrow them if you want to measure them...they're just sitting here...

Mmmmmm LPG.....yea, another excellent tweeter.

The really sweet thing about being a member of ECA is hearing about all these in-expensive drivers :D That's where I learn about those drivers.

PEI330Ci 06-11-2004 09:01 AM

One thing I notice about ECA:

When people recomend to try something, other people try it before offering an oppinion.

I bet there are scores of raw drivers sitting in closets from the escapades started on that forum. Reminds me of the DYI home audio crowd.

I noticed the same thing. It's particularly dangerous for someone like myself who resides in the middle of nowhere who is trying to make decisions based on limited information and who dosen't have the benefit of auditioning the pieces. However, the flip side is that there's a wealth of information".
