Rear Subs Set Up

Hello

First Forum I have decided to use so if I do not supply enough info let me know.

Present System is Eclipse cd5000 with speakers in front Focal kp100 4" and tweeters and a set of Focal 13KS 5" subs in the door panels. Presently these are powered by a Zapco 1000.4 Ref amp which is set up in 2 channel. I like the sound very much but decide it needed a bit more bass.

I have now purchased another Zapco 1000.4 amp to power a pair of Morel Elate SW6 for the rear.

My question is it better to leave the front system as it is with the amps and then wire the rear subs to the new amp. I was thinking I would bridge the amp to put out 500 watts per side. I am thinking of using the crossover in the HU at 80Hz. Or is there a better way to set this up for SQ

you could make a passive xover very simple. http://www.ehow.com/how_8448_make-passive-crossover.html then you get exactly what hertz you want.
