focals are not the kind of sub that u want to go throwing into a box like that, i realy have to agree with Dukk's humble oppion on this one. how ever if u are still intrested in this type of design u will absolutly love a tritunned box! and here is the deal on this i personaly am completly not an rf fan but the punch hx2 is stinking loud in this enclosure and i also did a hertz energy 12 in one of these boxes and i hit 141.5 on the pressure sensor with 500 rms. so take my oppion for what it is worth! have fun man!

what is a trituned box ?
do you have a pic of one ?
do you have plans for one ?
what do i need to know about that box?

The 'abc' box is known by different names. Tri-tuned, abc (aperiodic bi-chamber). Probably some others too. It consists of two chambers and 3 port tubes. One chamber is twice as big as the smaller chamber. The sub mounts in the larger chamber like a regular ported box. All 3 port tubes are the same diameter and length. One port is for the larger chamber, one for the smaller chamber and the third one connects the two chambers together.

^^^ that is as detailed as u can get ^^^ if u didn't do well in grade nine ten math i wouldn't try to do this box though. but if that is not an issue, it can realy hammer!

i built a abc box for my nack sub and with only about 250 rms its was very impressive,loud as fawk and still sounded very tight.
